I just love the feeling when clouds rumble in and the rain starts to pour. In Singapore, it rains...
a lot. ;)

I love rain and clouds and thunder and lightening, the thrill and intensity of a storm. Have you ever lived in a tropical country? Have you ever experienced that silent moment, just before a storm strikes... Everything is quiet, no dogs barking, the wind dies down, the air stops moving.

Everything is still and silent, waiting for the storm. Then BAM! The thunder starts, the trees bend, rain starts to fall, life starts again. I love being underneath the rain, while there is no lightening, feeling the fat drops plopping on your face.

I love the rain. The tiny diamonds falling from the sky, sometimes gentle and light, floating on a breeze, sometimes harsh and strong, heavy and bold, sometimes sharp as a whip and sometimes sneaky and cold, creeping under your umbrella.

Then when the thunder and lightening come, everything becomes so exciting. To snuggle up safe and warm in your house while the wind beats the doors and the lightening sizzles the trees is one of the best feelings in the world.

There was a huge storm last night - thank you mother nature!
